Starting life as a display for the individual wrapped pieces that became 'Balcony Cloth', these metal sheets display the corrosive nature of time and the elements. The patina of rust resembles an abstract-expressionist masterpiece, or the patterns on Warhol's 'Oxidation' painting.
The installation became a work over time, and has been displayed twice, at PRISM Edgelands and the Japanese Textile + Craft Festival in 2024, with much interest in the patterns produced in their surfaces.
