The Cantemporary Tales - A Pilgrimage to the Modern Gods of Lore
Using 'The The Canterbury Tales’ as a warped springboard, celebrating its investigation of human nature and life’s journey seeking spiritual renewal. The work represents a commentary of society, religious diversity, and everyday life, the prejudices against each other based on their pecking order in society and the modern day pursuit of hedonism.

The 'Mistresses of Bow Masks' are a contemporary assessment of the roles of women in society. In order to highlight the imbalance of power within a male-dominated society. Historically, women were identified not by their social status and occupations, but solely by their relations with men: defined as either unmarried, a spouse or widow – capable only of child-bearing, cooking and other ‘women's work’

The Cantemporary Tales confronts the double standard deeply rooted in our culture, and the social belief in the inferiority of women, and establishes a defence of women's sovereignty, reflecting the armour required to challenge the imbalance of power still prevalent in modern society.
