Drawing on The Ages of Man Totem Installation, these artefacts are associated with the progressive development of the 'Edgeland'. Crude and naive, they embody the raw creativity which emerges from that “Bastard Countryside” - utilitarian, ethereal and transient by nature.
This work is representative of the concepts underpinning the main installation, these ‘artefacts’ are associated with the mythology behind the Totems.
