In 2018 the Upstairs Gallery in Berkhamsted was be filled flowers. Their summer show ‘In Bloom’, was a floral festival with artists contributing a whole host of works. The Gallery says the show was
‘a joyous celebration of summer with flowers in all their glory and created in all sorts of ways – paint, wood, clay, felt, metal, paper, fabric, recycled materials … and of course, a few natural blooms too.‘
Using recycled rose and orchid stems, Ross has used natural dyed and eco-printed silks and cotton gauze to create blooms, which were for sale during the exhibition. In 2017 Ross exhibited four works, ‘Waterloo Bridge, Grey Weather‘, ‘Nest‘, ‘Scrim Bowls‘ and ‘Fractured Landscape I II III’ in the show ‘Roots, Shoots and Leaves‘.
